Oh hey, I didn't see you there. Thanks for stopping by.
I'm a re-recording engineer, sound designer and composer in Brooklyn, NY.
I bring a life-long love of music and film to every project I work on.
I received a graduate degree in Music Technology from NYU in 2013,
and spent the next six years as chief engineer and in-house composer
at Mixology Post. As chief engineer, I worked on everything from one-off original podcasts for FX to massive live events like NBCUniversal's 2017 upfront at Radio City Music Hall. I've also composed music for ads, music libraries, short films and one documentary feature. I write, record and produce music as Lady James Monroe, and released this music video which won the Viewer's Choice Award at the Nighthawk Shorts Festival (Music Program).
I went freelance in December 2019 to work with independent artists on everything from bite-sized digital content to feature films. Recently I mixed and sound designed an upcoming feature film, a short film and music supervised a new travel series by Refinery29.
